Privacy and Terms of Use for Webinars.

Webinar Overview

Webinars are similar to lectures or seminars, except that they take place virtually over the Internet. You can participate in TLT-Turbo GmbH webinars by registering via the link to the respective event on the webinar platform (GoToWebinar) and accepting the following data protection and participation conditions for webinars. The following data will be requested during registration: first name, last name, company name, function and e-mail address. Additional information provided during registration and topic-related surveys prior to the event are voluntary and are not required for participation, but are helpful to our moderators in preparing for the event.

TLT-Turbo GmbH uses the GoToWebinar platform of LogMeIn Inc. to conduct the webinars. The provision of the service and the associated processing of personal data is carried out by LogMeIn Inc. LogMeIn Inc. is therefore responsible for processing the data. LogMeIn's privacy policy can be found at this link. Your registration information will be shared with us by LogMeIn Inc. for the purpose of hosting the webinar.

During and after the webinar session, LogMeIn, Inc. collects and transmits additional statistical information to TLT-Turbo GmbH. When you attend a webinar, ask a question, or respond to a question, in addition to the information you provided during registration, we may also collect information about the length of your session, your interest in the webinar, and your question or response, which we use to help us better serve our customers and improve our webinar events.

Your connection to the webinar platform will be encrypted. If the webinar is being recorded for later download, our moderator will clearly indicate this before the recording begins. In any case, the recording will only contain the content prepared by TLT-Turbo. Any question and answer session between or after the other content will not be recorded. By agreeing to the terms and conditions of participation, you agree not to make any recordings or screenshots of the webinar session.

You may leave the webinar or end your session at any time by closing your browser or the program on your device. When our moderator closes the webinar, your participation in the session automatically ends.

General terms and conditions for participation in webinars organized by TLT-Turbo GmbH or its subsidiaries
Registration for a TLT-Turbo GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “TLT”) webinar and participation is only possible under the conditions stated here. By registering for a TLT webinar, you expressly agree to these terms and conditions. TLT reserves the right to cancel any webinar registration at any time.

1. Eligibility to Participate
Participation in TLT webinars is subject to these General Terms and Conditions and, in addition, the Terms of Use of the platform operator and TLT (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”).

By registering for a TLT webinar, you agree to the above terms and conditions as well as the privacy policy of the platform operator and TLT without exception. If you are an employee of a competitor of TLT or a relative of an employee of a competitor, participation in a TLT webinar is generally excluded. TLT reserves the right to make exceptions.

2. RegistrationWebinars are announced by TLT via the home page or social media. You may register using the registration link provided on the homepage or elsewhere. In order to register, you must provide your personal information in accordance with TLT's Privacy Policy (Section 1 of these Terms and Conditions) and agree to the Terms and Conditions of Participation and Use. You may be asked to complete a survey. Required and optional information and survey content will vary depending on the type of webinar. If you wish to attend more than one webinar, you must register separately for each webinar. Once you have registered, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and containing the dial-in link for the webinar.

3. Webinar Cancellation
TLT expressly reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a webinar. This applies especially in the following cases

  • Insufficient number of participants
  • technical problems
  • Failure of the speaker
  • Organizational reasons

In all cases, you will be notified by e-mail of the cancellation or postponement of the webinar and of any alternative date.

No further claims for cancellation or rescheduling will be accepted.

4. Changes
TLT reserves the right to substitute speakers at short notice, or to change presentations and content, provided that such changes do not materially affect or contradict the content of the webinar.

5. Cancellation of Registration
TLT is entitled to cancel a registration for a webinar at any time without giving reasons. Participants may cancel their registration at any time using the link in the registration confirmation. However, there is no obligation to do so.

6. Disclaimer
The content of a webinar is carefully checked. However, errors or inaccuracies cannot be excluded. TLT does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information contained in the webinar materials. The information in the TLT webinars does not constitute a guarantee, assurance or other warranty. Furthermore, TLT shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages or lost profits based on information provided by TLT in the webinars, unless caused by gross negligence on the part of TLT.

7. Fees
Unless otherwise agreed, the webinars are offered free of charge.

8. Use of Event Materials
All webinar content, recordings thereof, and documents sent or made available in connection with webinars are the intellectual property of TLT and are protected by copyright. You may only use these documents for your own purposes. Disclosure to third parties, further publication or commercial use as well as further rights of use in general are expressly excluded, unless they have been approved in advance in writing by an authorized employee of TLT.

9. Final Provisions
Insofar as this contract is concluded with a businessman within the meaning of § 14 BGB (German Civil Code), the place of jurisdiction shall be Zweibrücken.
Zweibrücken shall be the place of jurisdiction and
German law shall apply.
These conditions of participation are subject to German law to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Amendments and/or supplements to these terms and conditions must be made in writing and are the sole responsibility of TLT.
