In April 2025, this year’s Children’s Conference (“Kiko”) organized by “Plant for the Planet” took place in Bad Hersfeld – an inspiring weekend full of dedication, creativity, and hope. TLT-Turbo is proud to have supported this important event with a donation.
What began with the dream of then nine-year-old Felix Finkbeiner – the planting of a single tree – has since grown into an international movement with a clear mission: to encourage children and young people around the world to take an active role in shaping their own future.
A key element of this movement is the annual Children’s Conference. From April 4 to 6, around 40 young participants gathered in Bad Hersfeld to develop visions together and inspire real change.
Commitment that Takes Root
Throughout the weekend, impressive projects and actions took place:
A letter of demands calling for a stop to deforestation was written and addressed to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Local issues were discussed in an exchange with Mayor Anke Hofmann.
300 trees were planted in the city forest.
A creative banner featuring an environmental message was designed.
As a grand finale: the creation of a mini rainforest in a jar – a tangible symbol of sustainability.
TLT-Turbo Takes Responsibility
At TLT-Turbo, we see it as part of our responsibility to actively support initiatives like Kiko – where engagement meets education and real participation. With our donation, we aim to help raise awareness among young people for environmental and climate issues and to strengthen their commitment.
Our direct exchange with the organizers and the insights into the program showed us: this form of involvement has a real impact – and deserves our support.
