Privacy policy when using the video assistance system
As part of the business relationship, we offer our business partners the use of a cloud-based video assistance system. This provides the possibility to use video, image and audio live transmission as well as to make still image recordings.
The video assistance system can optionally be used by the business partners for contract execution (e.g. for acceptance).
Insofar as the business partner wishes to use the video assistance system, we shall, while processing
- the name
- the e-mail address and/or
- the telephone number
of the user (hereinafter referred to as login data) for a limited period of time, issue a license to use the system will be issued by us.
When using the video assistance system
- the login data
- the connection data and
- the transmitted content data (audio, image or video data)
processed for contract processing (art. 6 sect.1 lit. b DSGVO), our legitimate interest in effective video communication and the documentation thereof, or on the basis of the user’s consent (art. 6 para.1 lit. a DSGVO).
The login and connection data are deleted after 90 days, the content data after 6 months.
The video assistance system is operated for us by the company TeamViewer Germany GmbH, Bahnhofsplatz 2, 73033 Göppingen. Teamviewer Germany GmbH processes the above data exclusively on our behalf (art. 28 DSGVO). Accordingly, this data may only be processed in accordance with our instructions and for our purposes and not for our own purposes.
The data will not otherwise be passed on to third parties.
