From 18 to 19 October Ersin Cetin, Johann Freer, Florian Neff and Pascal Koch represented TLT-Turbo at the Kraftwerkstechnisches Kolloquium (Power Plant Technology Congress).
The Power Plant Technology Congress is hosted by Technische Universität Dresden at the International Congress Centre in Dresden, Germany. Now in its 54th year, the congress has grown to become one of the world’s strongest scientific-technical conferences for the energy and power plant industry attracting around 1.000 participants and about 100 exhibiting companies every year.
The TLT-Turbo team was reportedly thrilled to have the opportunity to hear industry experts speak about the future of power plant technology and to find the feelings of a positive outlook on energy policies reflected in engagements with partners and potential clients.
Johann Freer, Head of Business Segment Service and Power Fans at TLT-Turbo, comments: “We have participated in this important event for several years. By presenting our service products, we have had valuable conversations with partners and potential customers. Furthermore, we were lucky to participate in informative and exciting presentations on the issues concerning supply security in 2022 and the near future. These gave us a view of the future trends that will be affecting the industry over the next few years, and this gives us further insights which we need in order to align our service offering, e.g. Aero Consulting for ventilation equipment in industrial facilities for the future.”
Supplying fans that are purpose-built for use in thermal power plants is one of TLT-Turbo’s key specialties and the company has become renowned for supplying fans that are highly energy efficient and able to operate within the harshest environments.
